Indo-Pak peace talks should continue despite the recent terrorist attacks

Efforts to have a thaw in the relationship with Pakistan have always been fraught with undesirable consequences. That it is a part of an intentionally designed ploy is anybody's guess. The brazen attack on the Indian Air Force base at Pathankot recently rises apart from issues relating to security the extent of operational success that the ultras from across the border can achieve. While it is a matter of grave concern from the viewpoint of security, it is however imperative that both the nations go ahead with their plans to continue to engage in peace talks. The terrorists are determined to scuttle any efforts to normalize relations between the neighbours would continue to play spoilsport to derail Indo-Pak peace talks. However the nefarious designs should not deter the spirit and will of the Government of both the nations to continue to involve in their efforts to progress further.
